I found this little Accent table and fell in love with the legs on it.  I am thinking a paint stain combination on this one or maybe just a darker stain.  I guess I will have to get started on it to see what I want to do.  Whatever it is I want the legs to really be seen.  So keep stay tuned for more.

Well the yellow table has gone from yellow to black. I used the same crystal knob that was on it originally.  You can see the original crackle type finish comes through.  Don't mind the wet looking smudge on the the right front of the drawer.  That was a bit of touch up work.  But in all I think it is ready to go. Now lets see if the shoppers like it.

I purchased this pedestal table at an estate sale. Very sturdy and unique. It was painted yellow and some what of a crackle finish. I personally thought it looked pretty good. But when I put it in the booth I heard several comments. I like the table but not in yellow. So yellow has to go.  Lets see what will make it a bit more luring.  It is a nice table for a bedroom or living room.  Maybe a bit more modern look.

I found this nice Roseville pottery vase/piture at an estate sale this weekend.  I love the old pottery and Roseville is very collectable.  I have not seen one like this.  So I was happy to get it.  And this piece of course is ready for a price tag.

I found this little Railroad lantern at an auction.  I love it. It has the red glass globe which needs to be cleaned.  There is plenty of rust on it so that will get a good once over as well.  I am thinking a Black or Green color to go with the Red glass.  This will be coming soon. Stay tuned.

I love ladder back chairs.  This chair came from the same basement as the vanity seat.  As you can tell they both look alike, as far as dirt.  I will first work on cleaning the seat and then give the structure a face lift.  This will be after the vanity seat.  But I am going to have both done very soon.  So keep a look out.

I have had too long of a break from posting.  But not from the sales.  I found this little vanity seat in the basement of a house in Chapel Hill.  VERY musty smelling.  The structure is sturdy, but I really liked the look.  Much more time in that basement I don't think there would have been anything to salvage.  I am going to remove the, what used to be white leather seat and re-upholster it.  The padding and cover will need to be replaced, due to being in the damp space.  I can't wait to get started on this one.

So I decided to be a little funky on this secret project.  Just to show how crafty you can be.  I used a black wax on the wood part to darken it up which turned out nicely I might add.  And I re-upholstered the seat with an old shirt I don't wear.  Sorry I liked it for something.  I guess it was this.  LOL  But you never know til you try it.  I think it turned out good.  Hope you like it as much as I do.  Up for sale!

Here is a nice little table that I purchased at the Pink Flamingo.  I am thinking maybe 1960's to 1970's, accent table with a magazine holder at the bottom.  The table is nice and sturdy.  I did a heavily distressed look on the base and then a coat of Mahogany Minwax on the top.  I was really happy with this one.  It is up for sale.

I found this little dresser at an estate sale on Saturday.  I have seen the stained painted look and wanted to try it myself.  I used a flat antique white on the structure of the dresser.  I then used Mahogany Minwax on the drawers.  I then went over it with a clear wax to seal it.  I replaced the knobs for a completed project.  And it has been moved into my space and up for sale.  Lets hope it goes quickly.

I decided to try out the New Annie Sloan Chalk paint.  I like the look of it.  This is with two coats of old white.  But I have decided to make a change on the white.  So I have a bit to do over.  For now here is a sneak peak of it partially completed.  This piece is huge and takes time to complete.  But I like it more and more every time I look at it.  This hutch will get new knobs as well.  I am still deciding on what knobs I want, I am thinking I have to shop around to get the perfect fit.  Stay tuned for the completed project.  I can't wait to finish it.

I love this wine box!  The front of it slides off to store your wine in a decorative way.  But the detail is great.  I think a nice white wash on it to give it more of and aged look will be great.  White washing is easy.  Little water and a little paint.  It will be great!

Cute little table I got today from the Pink Flamingo.  Really sturdy.  Thinking of my colors for this one.  I May not do a distressed look.  But I might ;)

Almost forgot one! My little soda fountain chair planter.  Another estate sale find.  The picture on the right is terrible, but I measured the top width of the seat and found a coconut basket planter to fit it.  This will look great with a colorful flower blooming in it.   The chair was originally just plain wood.  I used apple red paint to brighten it up.  This goes today as well.  Hope it sells quick for the season of flowers.
Today will be lots to move to the Just Tweaked it Booth.  A labor of love although, back breaking at times.  Wish me luck that all of this moves out quickly.  I still have a few pretty large projects to complete.

A little garden accent wagon for the yard.  I finished the bottom in black, still deciding on the color for the top.  It will be finished shortly and ready for the booth.  And yes my yard is becoming Tye Dyed.  Thank goodness for lawn mowers.  Although I think it looks nice.  :)

My little Milk Can, that I purchased at an estate sale.  A nice fresh coat of apple red paint and it is ready for the booth for sale.

This little Bench/Table came from a church.  Nice and sturdy and pretty heavy as well and I love this little detail on the sides.  I mixed the paint for this one.  I found a nice sample color and mixed it with a bit of cream colored paint.  I really like the color it turned out great.  It is ready to go to my booth today.  Lots of moving going on.  My house is starting to look like storage wars, or better yet hoarders.  :)  Can't have that!
