I needed a new entertainment center to hold my 42" TV.  Anything within my budget did not last.  The prefab stuff is just no good.  I had a hutch that I purchased years ago.  I removed one shelf on the top part, filled it with wood filler and added shelves at the bottom to hold the extras.  A coat of primer and some Martha Stewart Dark Brown paint and I had a very affordable and sturdy entertainment center.  It fits in well with the decor.  Love it.
